GRP & PRP Treatments

PRP and GRP are highly natural and biological treatment methods that directly utilize the body’s own healing power to repair and regenerate the skin and hair follicles. At the heart of these treatments is the injection of plasma derived from one’s own blood and enriched with platelets, which are reparative cells, and growth factors, into problem areas. By giving the revitalization signal that the skin or hair follicles need with the body’s own resources, an effective rejuvenation and repair process is initiated without the need for synthetic substances.

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) treatment is the most well-known and basic method in this field. A small amount of blood taken from the person is passed through a special centrifugation process to obtain a plasma fluid dense in reparative cells called platelets. Platelets are natural sources that secrete growth factors that initiate healing when there is an injury in our body. When this rich plasma is injected under the skin or into the scalp, it sends a signal to that area as if it needs to start a repair process. Thanks to this signal, collagen and elastin production is triggered in the skin and hair follicles are revitalized and start to work more strongly.

GRP (Growth Factor Rich Plasma) is a new generation version of PRP technology that has been further developed. Thanks to the special kits and centrifugation techniques used in the GRP method, the growth factor concentration in the plasma obtained is increased to much higher levels than standard PRP. Obtaining a denser and purer reparative plasma increases the effectiveness and targeted power of the treatment. In short, GRP is a next-generation treatment that aims to achieve more powerful results by utilizing the body’s healing potential in a more concentrated way.

Both applications are extremely safe procedures that do not carry the risk of allergies or side effects since the person’s own blood is used. They are used to improve the overall quality of the skin in areas such as the face, neck, décolleté and the backs of the hands, removing dull and tired appearance, smoothing fine wrinkles and giving the skin a healthy glow. In hair loss treatment, they slow down hair loss by nourishing weakened hair follicles, thicken existing hair strands and support new hair growth.

The application process proceeds after the physician creates a personalized session schedule after skin or hair analysis. An anesthetic cream is applied to the area to be treated to ensure comfort. After blood collection and plasma preparation, the rich plasma is injected under the skin or into the scalp with very fine needles. A course of 3-4 sessions, usually scheduled at 2- to 4-week intervals, provides the most permanent and effective results. After the procedure, you can return to social life immediately; a slight redness that may occur in the injection areas will disappear spontaneously in a short time. In parallel with the skin’s self-renewal process, the positive effects of the treatment become increasingly evident as the sessions progress.
