Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a medical aesthetic treatment method in which vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes and building blocks such as hyaluronic acid are injected into the middle layer of the skin (mesoderm) through very fine needles. The main purpose of this method is to deliver the nourishing and restorative substances needed by the skin or hair follicles directly to areas that are difficult to reach through circulation. Specially prepared according to the needs of the person and the targeted area, these rich-content mixtures target the problematic area and initiate an effective and rapid regeneration process.

The effect of the treatment is twofold; firstly, the ingredients in the injected cocktail nourish, repair and revitalize the skin. Secondly, the micro traumas created by the very fine needles used during the application activates the skin’s self-healing mechanisms. This stimulation allows the body to increase collagen and elastin production in that area. Thanks to this versatile mechanism of action, mesotherapy is successfully used in a wide range of areas from facial rejuvenation to hair loss, from regional thinning to cellulite treatment.

This method, also known as “mesolifting” when applied on the face, restores the moisture and elasticity lost by the skin. It gives an instant shine and vitality to the skin that becomes dull and pale over time, softens the appearance of fine wrinkles and improves the overall quality of the skin. In the case of hair loss, special mixtures prepared to nourish the hair follicles are injected directly into the scalp. In this way, weakened hair follicles are strengthened, hair loss slows down, existing hair becomes healthier and shinier, and new hair growth is encouraged. Body applications aim to improve the appearance of cellulite or reduce stubborn fat deposits in certain areas with formulas that regulate circulation and break down fat cells.

Mesotherapy application starts with the preparation of the most suitable mixture for the needs of the person after a detailed analysis by the specialist physician. An anesthetic cream is applied to the area to be treated to increase comfort. Then, the prepared cocktail is injected under the skin with small and rapid injections. A single session is usually not enough for the treatment to be effective. Depending on the condition of the problem, a course of several sessions, usually planned at intervals of 1 to 4 weeks, gives the best results.

The pain sensation, which is one of the issues that our patients are most curious about, is minimal thanks to the very fine needles and anesthetic cream used, and the procedure is usually completed comfortably with a slight stinging sensation. After the application, slight redness or small bruises may occur at the injection sites, but these effects disappear completely on their own within a few days and do not affect social life. The results of the treatment appear gradually as the sessions progress in parallel with the skin’s self-renewal process and are most evident when the course is completed.
